In a podcast recorded last month with Rob Riggle, Mahomes revealed, “Before COVID happened, we were supposed to go to Europe, so this is the summer I go to Europe with Brittany and the kids. We’re going to spend about 3 1/2 weeks over there. I’ve had to knock out commercials all up until this point, so I’m getting them all done right before the end of minicamp and kind of getting a free three weeks to go over to Europe. We’re gonna bounce around, I’m gonna go to Wimbledon. We’re going to the British Grand Prix.”

Mahomes’ European vacation coincides with some of the most prestigious sporting events in the world. The British Grand Prix is set for Sunday, promising an adrenaline-filled day at Silverstone Circuit. Meanwhile, Wimbledon, the oldest and most prestigious tennis tournament, is already underway. Mahomes and his wife Brittany were spotted enjoying the action at the All England Club on Friday.
A Trip Long Overdue
This European trip is particularly special for Mahomes, who had planned it before the pandemic struck. “That trip was planned right before COVID and then I had back-to-back kids, so I haven’t got to get back over there. And now’s the time to go,” Mahomes explained.
