Wahlberg plays Mike McKenna, a construction worker who finds himself thrust into the world of espionage after reconnecting with his old high school girlfriend, Roxanne Hall (Berry). Roxanne recruits Mike for a high-stakes US intelligence mission in London due to his anonymity in the spy world, making him the perfect candidate to retrieve a stolen list containing the identities of every United States spy.
Directed by Julian Farino, known for his work on HBO’s Entourage, and co-written by David Guggenheim and Joe Barton, The Union promises a blend of humor and thrilling action. Wahlberg’s production studio, Closest to the Hole Productions, is co-producing the film.
