Post Malone and Luke Combs sent fans into a frenzy with their recent collaboration, “Guy For That,” which serves as the latest sneak peek into Malone’s upcoming debut country album, F-1 Trillion. Those who have been loving this tune as well as the music video will be happy to know that this won’t be the last song they hear from the pair of artists as Combs is the only artist featured on two songs on F-1 Trillion. Plus, Combs revealed that they have “written a bunch together this year.”

In an interview with Audacy’s Katie & Company, Combs explained that while hasn’t heard a lot of the unreleased music off Malone’s new project, he has throughly enjoyed getting to learn about the genre-bending artist’s creative process in their frequent writing sessions.

“He’s such a music fan. He just loves music, all kinds of music. He loves making music. He has such just good energy and vibe, he’s just positive, at least from my experience. And gosh, I mean, he’s just the sweetest dude,” Combs shared honestly.

Stepping Outside Of His Comfort Zone

On top of all the fun they had, the “Love You Anyway” singer also said that working with Malone allowed him to step outside of his comfort zone and experience a new way of writing music.

“It was another thing that was stepping outside of stuff that I wouldn’t normally write, but also bringing my little bit of knowledge into his thing. So it was really cool, man,” he shared. “Those guys, the way they write and produce and create stuff is so much different than the way I do it. It was just really cool to get to be around that stuff and experience it and it was really a lot of fun.”
