Pink’s Daughter Willow Steals the Spotlight in ‘Bye, Bye Birdie’: A Star is Born!

Pink’s daughter is following in her footsteps.

the singer’s husband Carey Hart shared photos on his Instagram of their daughter Willow, 13, as she starred in her school’s production of Bye, Bye Birdie. In the photos, Willow can be seen in full costume, wearing a red wig and pink tulle skirt.

Other shots show her singing and then dancing among the rest of her cast as they continue with the musical. “I’m beyond proud of my lil girl, Willow. She just wrapped up her 4 night theater production of Bye Bye Birdie, and she killed it,” Hart wrote in his caption.

“I can’t believe how brave she is, and how she switches it on for her performance. To watch her progress over the last 5 years has been very special to watch. Can’t wait you see you on that broadway stage.”

“With how hard you work, your talent, and commitment to theater, there is no doubt you will be there. Great work mama in helping Willz achieve her goals,” Hart concluded his post.

At the end of June, Pink shared a sweet video on Instagram announcing that her daughter Willow’s time with her on the Summer Carnival tour was over.

The clip showed Pink and Willow having a conversation together backstage as the singer asked the preteen to tell her about what she’s planning to do when she gets home.

“I want you to tell me all the things. You’re leaving me. Why would you ever do that?” Pink teased. “What are you doing when you get home, what are you looking forward to?”

Willow smiled as she shared that she was going to be in a production of Bye Bye Birdie. Pink then talked with her daughter about her love of theater and the moment she sensed her daughter’s love for the art.

Willow went on to share that she hopes to pursue theater professionally and eventually be on Broadway.

Pink previously shared with PEOPLE that Willow’s been itching to get on Broadway.

“We’re learning a new song together, which is exciting. She’s not totally on board yet. She’s very into musical theater. I’m trying to get her to spread her wings a little bit,” she shared in May.

Asked what genre the new song is, Pink told PEOPLE it’s “Broadway,” adding, “I want her to go do the damn thing.”
