Lil Wayne Surprises Fans with Electrifying Guest Verse on DJ Premier’s “Ya Don’t Stop”

Fresh off his feature on Cordae‘s new single “Saturday Mornings,” Lil Wayne comes through with his second guest verse of the week.
DJ Premier has enlisted Weezy, Rick Ross, and Big Sean for his latest track, “Ya Don’t Stop.”
“I’m a sniper with this rifle/ I’m spitting like it’s a cypher/ You decipher is you Mike, is you Beckford or is you Tyson/I got ice on top of ice on my neck,” the Young Money boss rhymes on the third verse.

“Ya Don’t Stop” follows a string of singles DJ Premier has dropped this year, following his recent collaborations with Chance the Rapper (“Together”), Nas (“Define My Name”), and Snoop Dogg (“Can U Dig That?”).
Premo explained how the song came to fruition in a short clip posted on Instagram.
“[Rick Ross] was like, ‘Send me the joint, lemme hear it.’ Same night he sent it back. Boom. I reached out to Lil Wayne. I said, ‘I have two songs.’ Same night he says, ‘Yo, I’ll take ’em both. Do whatever you want with ’em.’ Done deal,” Premo shared.
“Big Sean hits me up and says, ‘I needed a scratch hook. What can I do in return?’ I say, ‘Do a hook for me on this.’ He sends it back, I’m like. ‘That’s it.’ As a producer and a DJ, you just know when its cooked — and now we serving it.”
