Penny Lancaster, 53, radiated glamour as she was spotted in a black bikini during a luxurious yacht trip with her husband, legendary rock star Rod Stewart. The couple, accompanied by their children, is currently enjoying the sun-drenched paradise of Sardinia, Italy.
Rod Stewart, 79, has whisked his large family away for a sunny escape on the breathtaking island, where they are making the most of the stunning scenery. Penny, a mother of two, was seen soaking up the sun on the deck of their £50m super yacht, looking fabulous in her bikini. Meanwhile, Rod opted for a more conservative look, sporting a towel on his head, a bright yellow shirt, and multi-coloured shorts.
Joining the couple on this picturesque holiday are six of Rod’s eight children, his adorable grandson Otis, and several of his children’s partners. The blended family has been sharing lovely photos from their idyllic getaway on Instagram, giving fans a glimpse into their luxurious vacation.
One particularly heartwarming photo shows Penny and Rod playing with one-year-old Otis on the boat, who seems to be thoroughly enjoying himself. The couple, who tied the knot in 2007, were also joined by their two sons Alastair Wallace, 18, and Aiden Patrick, 13, as well as Alastair’s girlfriend, Eloise Darlington, 18, according to the Mirror.
Also present were Kimberly, 44, and Sean, 43, Rod’s two children from his marriage to actress Alana Stewart. His daughter from his relationship with model Kelly Emberg, Ruby, 36, who is also Otis’ mother, was there with her fiancé, Jake Kalic.
With a career that has dazzled fans for over six decades, rock ‘n’ roll royalty Rod Stewart could easily take a final bow. But the Celtic crooner isn’t ready to call it quits just yet, with his wife Penny revealing that he won’t be slowing down any time soon.
Speaking to HELLO!, Rod shared that he still has an insatiable appetite for life, much like his mate Tom Jones, who has vowed to belt out tunes as long as his chords can cope. On the topic of taking it easy, Rod declared, “I don’t see any possibility of slowing down anytime soon.”
Penny confirmed this sentiment, stating, “He loves what he does so much and will never retire.”
The Loose Women panellist also discussed the logistics of managing their big, beautiful brood, saying, “We like to take every opportunity to bring the family, children, and grandchildren together. Part of the family lives in America, part in England, so it requires a lot of planning, but at least two or three times a year, the whole clan comes together.”
She continued, “There are the usual family ups and downs. You have to use a lot of diplomacy, be patient and understanding. In the end, it’s worth it because you experience this wonderful bond that only a family can have. The epicentre of it is ultimately Rod: he’s the Rodfather.”
As the Stewart clan enjoys their luxurious holiday, it’s clear that the bond they share is as strong as ever, proving that family and love are the ultimate rock stars of life.
