Pink Proves That ‘the Momin Don’t Stop’ While Scolding Son Jameson Mid-Concert: ‘Get Off My Stage’

Pink may be “still a rockstar,” but above all else, she’s a mom, and parenting comes first.

The touring artist had to take a break during a recent stop of her Summer Carnival Tour to scold her son Jameson after he arrived on stage looking for a special treat.

A fan named Xochitl Oceguera uploaded a clip of “Jameson steal[ing] his Mommas Candy” during her Sept. 15 show at Dodger Stadium on TikTok, and many of her fellow moms were quite sympathetic to the singer’s plight.

“Anybody looking for a security job?” she joked as her 7-year-old son rifled through a small pile of candy scattered across the top of her piano—likely comprised of fan gifts and, potentially, a surprise from her musical director and pianist Jason Chapman, who will toss candy her way at each concert if she can correctly guess which song of hers he is playing during an interlude.

“What do you want?” she teased the boy, who leaned casually against the edge of the instrument with his oversized, protective headphones on. He waved a pointed finger over the pile of sweets, but his mom quickly reprimanded the intention. “You can’t have all of that—I guessed it; I won!”

Not to be deterred, he began collecting the treats in his hands, but the “So What” singer was in full mama mode. “Can you say hello—hold on, we’re gonna have to negotiate—first say hello,” she repeated as he began waving at the crowd with a cheeky grin. “Manners!”

After the crowd cheered and waved back, she pulled a classic mom move in trying to force him to Fortnight dance for everyone, but he wasn’t having it. “No? Okay, we’re not doing that,” she conceded, eventually snatching the candies she wanted off the piano.

“You can have those or that,” she said, grabbing another away. “Nope! You can have that.”

“Go! Get off my stage!” she finally scolded, tossing one of the sweets over his head. “Fetch!” He lingered as he tried to locate the candy on stage but P!nk wasn’t having it, trailing after him and wrapping her arms around him. “Go! I love you so much, bye!”

He was still set on finding the missing treat, though, and despite having lowered the microphone to rush him off, could still be heard saying, “I love you so much! You’ve got to go. Bye, bye! I love you!”

As he finally disappeared, she turned to the crowd and mouthed, “What the f–k,” before the video cut off, and moms everywhere immediately knew the feeling.

“‘I love you so much-bye!’ every single mom has felt this!” one viewer wrote in response, sympathizing with their fellow parent. “every. single. one.”

“When you are a mom you are a mom all the time, it does not matter lol😂😂😂,” another pointed out, while someone else agreed, “A mom will always be a mom! 🤣🤣🤣🤣,” and a third pointed out that “Even as pop starts [sic] the momin don’t stop!”

“I love the way she can even embarrass him on stage!” another fan laughed. “Like go mom 🤣.”

Others compared it to moments with their own moms, calling it “the equivalent” of “when i used to call my mom at work to tell her my sister was being mean to me” or “get out of my kitchen when a momma is cooking.”

It’s not the first time her youngest has crashed her concert in the name of candy, with fans previously dubbing the performer the “coolest mom ever” after she tried to convince Jameson he didn’t like any of the options before jokingly calling for security.

She was also once caught taunting Jameson and his sister Willow, 13, during the same moment of a previous show, telling the audience, “I get candy, and it’s candy I don’t have to share because neither one of my kids can get up here. I told security: Not at this moment.”
